Smart Alert System
Stock Sentry's intelligent alert system helps you focus on what matters most.
Alert Prioritization
Alerts are automatically prioritized based on:
- Time urgency: Days until stockout
- Sales volume: High-velocity products ranked higher
- Revenue impact: Best-sellers get priority
- Historical patterns: Seasonal trends considered
Notification Fatigue Prevention
To avoid overwhelming you with alerts:
- Deduplicate: One alert per product per day
- Smart grouping: Similar alerts bundled in digests
- Threshold logic: Only notify when thresholds crossed
- Snooze options: Temporarily silence known issues
Alert Lifecycle
New Alert
Created when product crosses threshold for first time.
Updated Alert
Inventory changed but still below threshold.
Resolved Alert
Product restocked above threshold.
Dismissed Alert
Manually dismissed by user.
Alert Actions
Snooze: Temporarily stop notifications (1-7 days)
Dismiss: Mark as handled
